Tadao

Tadao bed designed by VICO MAGISTRETTI, 1993

A simple intelligent idea: expose the slats of the bed that are usually hidden away. Function becomes a primary element of the design. Tadao emerged from Vico Magistretti’s creative mind. The wooden slats of the bedbase define the esthetics of this creation. His joyous intuition captured something beautiful from something simple. Tadao is available in numerous variations; from Canaletto walnut to coffee-brown oak to the unusual heat-structured finish: resistant, easy to clean and scratchproof. The Tadao nightstand is compact and created simply by extending the first two wooden slats of the base. Tadao can be moved easily thanks to the wheels on the side of the headboard. This bed can be disassembled and is eco-compatible. In brief, it is right up-to-date.
